The Kitchen
At the heartbeat of the building is the kitchen and dining room led by Mafruha Ahmed, young space’s head chef, alongside with sous chef Nancy Andersen (Babeheaven). Over lunch, our community, and studios, come together with the intention to foster conversation and collaboration. Lunches are included for all residents, who are also welcome to invite guests.
At the centre of Maf’s cooking ethos is the belief that cooking and sharing a meal is an expression of care, fostering conviviality and community. Maf’s debut cookbook Extended Lunch will be published in May 2025 by worms publishing.
